Townhall Meeting

Date: Monday, March 1, 2010
Time: 7:00pm
Location: Cross Cultural Center, Dr. White room, University of California, Irvine

The CCC will be holding a townhall meeting next Monday, March 1st, at 7 pm
in the Dr. White Room to discuss some of the recent events that have
affected members and organizations within our community.

In light of of the current uproar concerning the “Compton Cookout” at UCSD,
this townhall meeting will be designed to give you an opportunity to express
your feelings about the campus climate at UCI. Our hope is that our
conversation leads to constructive dialogue about what we can do as student
leaders and as a community of partners in making UCI an inclusive campus
with a climate of civility.

For those who are unfamiliar with these recent occurrences, we encourage you
to take adequate time to familiarize yourself with them and attempt to
understand the details in depth before Monday night. Also, please feel free
to stop through the CCC and talk to one of the staff members if you have any
specific questions.
