14 UC Berkeley protesters charged with misdemeanor offenses

Last Wednesday, a total of 14 people refused to leave the Wheeler Hall during a protest at UC Berkeley and are now being charged with misdemeanor offenses. The demonstrations were held to protest the recent budget cuts on public education.

UC Riverside displays art exhibits

UC Riverside’s Palm Desert campus’ art gallery features exhibits on a regular basis, with the shows ranging from local art starts to a full-scale colorful painting retrospective. Ron Willison, campus conference and events managers, says, “We are doing around four shows a year as our way of bridging the art scene between our two campuses as well as engaging the desert community.”
