Upcoming arraignments of Irvine 11 and Irvine 19 (April 15 and May 6 respectively) have some worried that protests and other forms of dissent may be criminalized. The Orange County District Attorney’s office is charging the Irvine 11 with conspiracy to commit a crime and for disrupting a meeting and the OCDA is charging the Irvine 19 with disorderly conduct.
