Op-Ed: Is online education for the University of California a bust?
The UC online curriculum as proposed by Christopher Edley, the dean of UC Berkeley’s School of Law, was meant to provide a sort of social justice (by offering a UC education for those who sought it but could not due to physical limitations), educational excellence (for which the University of California is known), and generate revenue for the university. Has it met these expectations?
